The Firm represents clients before legislative and executive branches of federal, state, and local governments. Our lawyers appear in legislative committee hearings, state agency staff meeting, or federal interagency oversight proceedings.
Our work includes legislative drafting (both statutory and legislative history), formulation of comments and position papers regarding proposed or final regulations of agencies, strategic counseling, and direct lobbying of government officials.
The participation of the Firm’s lawyers in the political and policy process is not entirely limited to client-related matters. Our attorneys sometimes play significant roles in local, state, and national campaigns.
